About the Role:

Supporting our Diversified Products division of IPS Corporation, this National Account Manager will be responsible for planning, managing and achieving sales revenue through one of our key accounts at a national level. Based in a remote capacity, this role will travel 50% of the time to key account sites primarily located throughout the East part of the US. They’ll be a data-driven leader using insights to drive strategy and should be familiar selling at the wholesale level. Compensation will be made up of a base salary, quarterly sales bonuses and a car allowance as well as regular benefits like medical, vision and dental insurance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing key goals for executing on the company strategy for new product adoption, better managed inventory, and general management of the key account.
  • Anticipating customer needs and proactively addressing them.
  • Identifying and fostering growth opportunities within key account via most effective product placement and promotional opportunities.
  • Analyzing sales reports to monitor top and bottom-line sales performance and adjusting strategy based on needs.
  • Partnering with the marketing team to jump start under-performing products and expand visibility and opportunities for well-performing products.
  • Communicating, identifying trends and addressing individual account needs within supply chain.
  • Participating and attending annual trade shows.
  • Driving culture of continuous improvement mindset using lean manufacturing concepts and tools like value stream, 5s, visual daily management and more.



Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree – Business or related field.
  • 5+ years’ experience in sales preferably in the Plumbing or Building Materials Industry
  • Demonstrated understanding of the Home Improvement Industry.
  • Experience selling at the national level and through wholesale
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills with experience and comfort delivering sales presentations to senior leadership
  • Strong interpersonal skills including ability to establish rapport with customers, persuade or negotiate with decision makers, and train on product applications.
  • Ability to drive sales strategy, create tactics and analyze results to inform strategy.
  • Advanced critical thinking and problem solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and generate results in a deadline-driven environment
  • familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and tools
  • Extensive experience using Salesforce, Excel, Powerpoint
  • Drive, Grit, Team Oriented: strong desire to compete and win
