Global Solution Architect (Remote Option Available from Sofia/Bulgaria)

For one of our clients – a leader in sustainable marine cargo handling, offering a diverse

portfolio of products and services – we are looking for the role of a Global Solution Architect (Remote Option Available).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Own the solution architecture and roadmap for the R2R, Tax, and Finance data processes, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals;
• Act as the IT representative in the RTR (Record-to-Report) process area, including managing interfaces with SAP and other integrated systems;
• Collect functional requirements and define user experiences, ensuring solutions meet business needs;
• Break down major requirements into smaller features and collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize;
• Maintain and document solution procedures in accordance with internal guidelines;
• Ensure the integrity of RTR systems, translating business requirements into technical specifications;
• Lead regular meetings with stakeholders to communicate system and process changes;
• Participate in testing across all levels of the solution, ensuring its quality and functionality;
• Provide 3rd-level support for R2R, tax, and data solutions, and guide relevant solution coordinators.
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, or a related field;
• 3+ years of experience in finance applications and processes;
• Familiarity with SAP or other major ERP systems, particularly SAP FICO;
• Experience with end-user training, support, and administration;
• Knowledge of JIRA and other project management tools;
• Strong background in process and solution development;
• Understanding of accounts receivable finance processes and IT systems;
• Interest in project work, process development, and IT systems improvement;
• Collaborative and team-oriented, with strong communication skills.
