Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Field Service Engineer to handle the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of telematics devices at client locations. This role requires a hands-on technician who is comfortable working directly at multiple client locations and ready to work on flexible timing, ensuring high-quality service in line with company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional service and customer support during field visits and installations.
Organize and align workflow with assigned schedules to maximize efficiency and client satisfaction.
Oversee the onsite installation, repair, and maintenance of telematics devices, ensuring devices are fully operational.
Diagnose technical errors or problems on-site and determine the appropriate solutions quickly and accurately.
Prepare comprehensive, timely service reports documenting work completed, observations, and any issues encountered.
Adhere to company protocols and procedures during all field activities to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
Build and maintain positive relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and strengthen customer loyalty.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar role in telematics or related technology installations.
Strong technical troubleshooting skills with knowledge of diagnostic methods and tools.
Ability to manage schedules and work independently on multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
Willingness to travel extensively and work on-site at client locations.
Preferred:
Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar role in telematics or related technology installations.
