This is a remote position.

Role Name: Bookkeeper

Schedule:

  • Full-time; 40 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:00am to 5:00pm, Arizona, USA time (11:00 PM to 8:00 AM PHT);  8 hours per day with an hour of unpaid break

Job Description

As a Bookkeeper for this thriving real estate investment firm, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing the financial backbone of a diverse and expanding property portfolio. You’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records across multiple states, processing a high volume of transactions, and providing crucial financial insights to support the company’s growth strategy. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team, handling various aspects of real estate finance from property acquisitions to ongoing management. Your financial acumen and attention to detail will be instrumental in supporting the company’s continued success and expansion in the competitive real estate market.


Responsibilities

• Maintain precise financial records for 100+ properties across multiple states

• Process and record a high volume of financial transactions, including income and expenses 

• Reconcile bank and credit card statements regularly

• Prepare comprehensive financial reports and statements

• Manage accounts payable and receivable efficiently

• Collaborate with property managers and real estate agents to ensure accurate financial tracking

• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting

• Help streamline and improve current bookkeeping processes

• Coordinate with internal team members and external partners on financial matters



Requirements
• Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably in real estate
• Proficiency with accounting software and advanced spreadsheet skills
• Meticulous attention to detail and data entry accuracy
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Ability to juggle multiple accounts and projects simultaneously
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Adaptability to work with various financial sources and systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify process improvements
