Job description

This is a remote position.

Schedule:

20 hours per week (fixed schedule) 8am to 12pm or 1pm to 5pm Florida Time - EST
Client Time: Florida Time 


We are looking for an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to handle daily financial operations and ensure the accuracy of our accounting processes. This role will be key in maintaining financial records, handling payroll, and preparing reports while collaborating with teams through Microsoft Teams. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and thrives in a deadline-driven environment.


  • Manage accounts payable, receivable, and payroll functions
  • Maintain accurate financial records and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
  • Reconcile bank statements and financial ledgers
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting standards
  • Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Bookkeeper, with a proven track record. 
  • Has experience with US Bookkeeping, Reconcilation, and tax regulation
  • Solid understanding of accrual-based accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks Online, with the ability to navigate and utilize advanced features
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high transaction volumes efficiently and accurately
  • Strong financial reporting and analysis skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring accuracy in all financial records
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus
  • Strong organizational and financial management skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and multitask
  • Excellent communication, especially via Microsoft Teams
