Position Overview

The RFP Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting NetCom Learning’s efforts to secure business through high-quality Request for Proposal (RFP) responses in India, UAE, and US markets. This position requires an individual with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work cross-functionally to manage the RFP response process from end to end. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Solution Architects, Sales, Legal, Finance, and Marketing teams, to deliver compelling and compliant proposals that meet the client’s requirements and highlight NetCom Learning’s offerings..

Key Responsibilities

  • RFP Management:
  • Lead and manage the entire lifecycle of the RFP process, including bid/no-bid analysis, proposal development, and submission.
  • Analyze incoming RFPs to understand client requirements, scope, evaluation criteria, and timelines.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Solution Architects/SMEs, Legal, and Finance teams to gather necessary information and create tailored responses.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to coordinate technical, pricing, and compliance aspects of the proposal.
  • Content Development:
  • Draft, edit, and organize high-quality, accurate, and engaging RFP responses, ensuring compliance with the RFP requirements.
  • Develop executive summaries, technical content, value propositions, and supporting documents for proposals.
  • Maintain a repository of reusable content, boilerplates, and past performance data to streamline future responses.
  • Proposal Writing and Submission:
  • Create well-structured, persuasive, and visually appealing proposals.
  • Ensure all proposals meet formatting and submission requirements as per client guidelines.
  • Ensure timely submission of RFP responses across different time zones for India, UAE, and US markets.
  • Client Interaction:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact during the RFP process for client inquiries and clarifications.
  • Engage with clients during pre-bid meetings, proposal reviews, and post-submission debriefings, when necessary.
  • Compliance and Risk Assessment:
  • Ensure all proposals are compliant with the client’s specifications, legal requirements, and internal standards.
  • Collaborate with legal teams to assess risks and address any legal or regulatory concerns in the proposal.
  • RFP Hunting and Opportunity Identification:
  • Proactively identify RFP opportunities in the target regions (India, UAE, US) by monitoring public and private portals.
  • Work closely with the Sales team to identify new prospects and maintain a pipeline of opportunities.
  • Post-Submission Review:
  • Conduct post-submission evaluations and track performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Participate in debriefs with clients to gather feedback and enhance future submissions.

Qualifications

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. A Master’s degree or certification in RFP management is a plus.
  • Experience:
  • 3-5 years of experience in an RFP Specialist or Proposal Writing role, preferably within the professional services, technology, or education sectors. Experience with Public Proposals will be an advantage.
  • Experience with RFP processes for clients in India, UAE, and/or US markets is highly desirable.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to create compelling narratives that align with client needs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and experience with CRM systems like HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with proposal management software (Qvidian, RFPIO, or similar) is an advantage.
  • Other Skills:
  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders across regions.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen ability to evaluate client needs and tailor responses accordingly.
