Job description

The SEM Strategist will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing our company’s overall SEO and Paid Media strategy. It covers a  wide variety of duties such as search marketing, web analytics, content strategy planning, link building, and keyword strategy. At Rankings.io, we are committed to providing end-to-end SEM services, including content creation, technical optimization, and keyword strategy for law firms looking for aggressive growth across multiple digital platforms. 

Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex data to identify trends and insights 
  • Proactively discover action items that can move the needle on client SEO and Paid Ads campaigns 
  • Actively participate in weekly Level 10 Meetings 
  • Estimate budgets and time  for successful campaigns 
  • Accurately allocate funds for clients' digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels 
  • Work closely with Sales, Accounts, and Ops to create cohesive strategies for client marketing campaigns 
  • Research, develop, and implement advanced SEM strategies and campaigns across client accounts. This includes competitive analysis, keyword research, ad copy development and testing, bid optimization as well as numerous micro-optimizations
  • Perform frequent analysis of client campaigns, including technical SEO, content analysis, utilizing our bidding analysis platform, account segmentation, keyword analysis, or other ad hoc analysis
  • Stay current on industry trends and upcoming technology, channels, and online marketing strategies
  • Write and present data analysis reports and proposals to stakeholders, executives, and clients

Requirements

  • Analytical and perceptive, skilled communicator who is able to collaborate with various teams.
  • Current knowledge of SEO practices and techniques is essential to this role.
  • Proven experience as SEO Manager, SEM Manager or similar role.
  • A deep understanding of relevant and current SEO  and Paid Ads best practices.
  • Experience with SEO analytics platforms such as Rank Ranger, Ahrefs, SEMRush, Agency Analytics, etc).
  • Proficient in Google Sheets, Looker Studio, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Local Falcon.
  • Analytical mindset with numerical aptitude.
  • Must be able to adapt to changing priorities, possess outstanding organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Solutions first mindset with willingness to explore and roll up sleeves to ensure team success 
  • Strong presentation, communication, writing, and collaboration skills  
  • Team-driven attitude and passion for learning
