Talent Recruiter (Domestic)

Date: April 2021

Primary Goal: Responsible for identifying and onboarding qualified linguists to join GLOBO’s Interpreting Team and the day-to-day operations of our on demand services. This job involves constant linguist communication to ensure they are meeting our client requirements. 

Responsibilities: 

• Identify and select candidates for the Independent Contractor roles through active and passive sourcing 
• Conduct interviews with Independent Contractors 
• Negotiate competitive rates with Independent Contractors 
• Maintain positive relationships with Interpreters once on-boarded with GLOBO ? Work closely with Quality Assurance and VRI Teams on new/existing hires and setting them up in GLOBO’s platform 
• Provide support for active interpreters in the form of 1099 verification letters, address changes, credentials updates, etc. 
• Communicate with Quality Assurance Team daily on new hires engagement ? Pull reports/data/metrics for the weekly meetings 
• Working closely with sales, scheduling team and operations to scale the talent pool in sync with business needs 
• Maintain active presence on social media platforms 
• Other duties as assigned 

Required Minimum Education and Experience: 

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) 
• At least 3 years direct recruiting experience or working in the language industry ? Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft and Google Suite 
• Experience with Apple/Mac Operating System preferred 

• Ability to work independently in a decentralized environment, without the reliance on direct authority 
• Highest level of personal and professional integrity and ethics 
• Proven ability to interpret strategic and operational business requirements, providing expert advice and financial counsel 
• Broad understanding of current and emerging technology practices 1
• High level of initiative, accountability, and follow-through

• Ability to manage multiple initiatives and projects and prioritize needs ? Strong sense of service and passion for the company and business ? Authorized to legally work for any employer in the United States

• Fluent in English
