Why Patients Need You

Members of the US INI and Rare Customer Engagement Platform Enablement Team work across a broad, multi-disciplinary group of stakeholders to develop, evolve, and lead projects and programs to advance CFC productivity, efficiency, impact, and results.  With the goal of developing a highly efficient and effective commercial customer facing platform, the team works seamlessly together to develop a process of continuous improvement measured by clearly defined key performance indicators that serve as benchmarks for success across the platform.  The Director, KAM Enablement role combines organizational, financial, project management excellence and understanding of both INI and Rare KAM strategic priorities and operations with the goal of seamless execution of the plans. 

What You Will Achieve

Key areas of focus include evolving and improving the effectiveness of the following:  KAM operational infrastructure, engagement framework, project management processes, documentation platforms, training curriculum, account team model and deployment, analytics and reporting platforms, technology platforms, 3rd party license agreement and information platforms, promotional resources, meeting planning (National and Regional).  The INI RARE Director of KAM Enablement role reports to the Enablement lead and is dotted line to the KAM National Leads in Rare and INI

How You Will Achieve It

  • Works with Enablement Team Lead and KAM Leadership Team to identify key themes and initiatives needed to advance productivity, efficiency, and results.
  • Partners cross-functionally with enabling internal functions & networks, while also partnering externally, as needed, to deliver insights and initiative(s) to evolve the KAM approach and results.
  • Drive the development, maintenance, and monitoring of KAM operational SOPs
  • Partner cross-functionally to support IM KAM CRM (Valkre) strategy, maintenance and change requests, as well as, triage field service requests to enhance KAM productivity and ensure platform reporting/analytics integrity.
  • Support  KAM /SCG roles account prioritization model evolution and execution with KAM/SCG LT and cross-functional partners
  • Manage and execute KAM PfizerAlign to support the following account alignments, territory development, position realignments, secondment alignments, product alignments, platform access, and DL alignments in collaboration with KAM leadership and Enablement.
  • Through insight generation and innovative strategy development to maximize the impact or our INI & Rare KAM Organizations.
  • Support PRT with key processes and congressional event planning associated with major congressional events as needed
  • Manage and execute KAM recognition platform in collaboration with KAM National Leads  Team Lead.
  • Manage ad hoc requests related to the following: KAM CRM (Veeva – Valkre) analytics/reporting, business review analytics/reporting, KAM/account alignment and overlap lists across internal and external cross-functional partners, and operational requests.
  • Maintain KAM access to 3rd party databases and informational sources while identifying opportunity to enhance utilization and execution of investments
  • Lead comprehensive planning, production, and execution of KAM meeting planning to include National calls, Fast Start, Regional and National meetings.
  • Coordinate Executive and other request of KAM account and field engagements in collaboration with KAM leadership.
  • Identify and prioritize the right continuous improvement projects, processes, and resources, working to establish consistency across teams with key stakeholders to advance productivity and support the strategy and execution of operating plans
  • Own, understand, inventory, and leverage key 3rd party and customer research to help shape and support INI / RD operating plan and gauge impact of evolving market and relative KAM/SCG approach.
  • Developing partnerships and collaborate with key colleagues in other functional areas and business unites to ensure ongoing alignment, consistency, efficiency, across KAM platforms.
  • Manage needed budget requests and budget tracking.
  • Continue to support onboarding, training, development and sustainment of capabilities across Pfizer for KAM RDs, KAMs, Marketing, and HIT KAMs; coordinating across the integrated account team (i.e. sales, medical) as needed to ensure a coordinated and effective approach.
  • Ensure all actions are compliant and adhere to Pfizer Values and OWN IT principles.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 10+ years of previous pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical marketing/sales experience with extensive external healthcare market and advanced customer / health system knowledge.
  • Headquarters knowledge and experience, with proven experience working across cross-functional HQ departments, teams and business units.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and lead with indirect authority.
  • Forward looking and results oriented with effective planning, prioritization, and organizational project skills.
  • Strong and proven project management skills demonstrating the ability to deliver multiple time horizon focused projects simultaneously in the short-term and long-term.
  • Track record of leading and managing complex programs to deliver improved outcomes.
  • Strong strategic skills including effectiveness in identifying and addressing major strategic challenges (e.g., new competition, shifting market environment) and the ability to balance short-term needs with long-term vision for the business
  • Strong interpersonal skills are required, as well as excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills to address Leadership and external audiences
  • Experience presenting to a mixture of leaders (e.g. RPs, RBDs, RMs, Marketing, and Medical).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior key account management, operations, or sales leadership experience with strong history of achievement and performance (2+ years).
  • Previous experience in promoted leadership roles preferred with a demonstrated track record of high performance and producing outstanding results as a team and/or functional group leader in both direct or matrix leadership positions.
  • An advanced degree is an advantage

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Travel will be required to HQ (Collegeville and New York) POAs, and other Business Meetings throughout the year.
  • If virtual, up to 50% travel may be required.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $149,200.00 to $248,600.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
