Job description

We are seeking a versatile and creative Digital Design Specialist to join our dynamic online retail team remotely. In this role, you will manage and create visually engaging content across multiple platforms, including social media, video and photo editing, and website design. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social media platforms, digital content creation, and web design, with a focus on increasing brand visibility and driving online sales. You will play a key role in developing cohesive brand aesthetics across all digital touchpoints.

This position requires a creative generalist with experience in designing for social media, creating engaging visual and video content, and maintaining website design elements. You will be working remotely for a US-based business with US-based clients, as part of a collaborative team that primarily operates in the United States. This is a full-time role, requiring a commitment of your entire working hours to this position and company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Management:
    • Develop and implement creative social media strategies to promote online products and services.
    • Create and schedule engaging content, including posts, banners, and visual stories, across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and more.
    • Monitor social media engagement, respond to comments and messages, and foster customer interaction to drive brand awareness.
    • Track and analyze performance metrics to adjust strategies and optimize online store traffic.
    • Monitor and respond to brand mentions, reviews, and feedback on social platforms.
    • Use social media management tools to efficiently schedule and track product promotions.
  • Digital Content Creation:
    • Video Editing: Create and edit high-quality, engaging short-form videos for social media, such as product showcases, promotional content, tutorials, and more.
    • Photo Editing: Retouch and enhance images for both social media and website use, ensuring a polished, professional look consistent with brand standards.
  • Web Design Support:
    • Assist in designing, updating, and maintaining website elements such as banners, landing pages, and product pages.
    • Collaborate with the marketing and eCommerce teams to ensure that all digital designs enhance the customer experience and align with brand objectives.
  • Creative Strategy & Execution:
    • Collaborate with the team to align social media content with broader brand and marketing strategies.
    • Ensure a cohesive and consistent visual identity across social media, website, and other digital platforms.
    • Innovate and experiment with new formats, designs, and interactive elements to keep the brand’s digital presence fresh and engaging.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager in an online retail or e-commerce environment.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) and e-commerce promotion strategies.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills with a focus on product promotion.
  • Ability to create engaging content that drives traffic and sales.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools like Hootsuite or Buffer.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred.

Benefits

  • Monthly Salary: $1,400 to $1,600
  • This is a full-time remote opportunity.
  • Employee can take a total of 10 days off per year for Holidays and can choose between US Holidays and their country’s holidays based on their personal needs and the business’s needs.
  • Employee will earn paid time off based on tenure with the business.
