The Opportunity

  • Deliver training sessions, workshops, and supporting materials to educate end users on low-code/no-code platforms.
  • Provide ongoing support and mentorship to Citizen Developer program participants and alumni, helping them to overcome technical challenges and enhance their skills.
  • Encourage Citizen Developer cohorts to share knowledge with each other.
  • Develop a knowledge base and community of practice to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration among Citizen Developers.
  • Advise on best practices and be an expert in troubleshooting.
  • Actively identify potential Citizen Developers.
  • Advise Digital Adoption and Enablement Manager on educational offerings (such as curriculum and pre-requisite), program goals, metrics, and KPIs.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative environment where employees feel empowered to participate in the program.
  • Exhibit advanced skillset in using MS Power Automate to create complex flows.
  • Develop advanced skillset in new and emerging low code and no code automation tools that could benefit Vituity.
  • Research and stay informed on industry best practices for Citizen Developer programming & automation tools.
  • Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and new programming.
  • Liaise with the Product Management team, particularly in the ideation phase of new projects to identify those requests which could be resolved with automation.
  • Establish governance frameworks and best practices to ensure the quality and security of citizen-developed workflows and bots.
  • Engage Information Security team when necessary.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with Vituity regulations, standards, and policies.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews of Citizen Developer activities to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Identify untapped areas for Citizen Developer programming with non-IT departments.
  • Participate in IT ideation meetings where a Citizen Developer solution is a possibility.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Integration teams and engage team resources when necessary.
  • Participate in Change Control Board meetings when necessary.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key business partners and stakeholders on how IT system capabilities can solve business challenges.
  • Connect with sponsors of projects that are not selected during ePMO annual planning, Innovation Grant panels, and similar idea collection pathways to work on interim solutions.

Required Experience And Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or comparable combination of education/experience required.
  • 5+ years of experience in a technology-related role working with low-code Digital and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools, like Power Automate,Power Apps, and Workato required.
  • Working knowledge of the Agile Software Development Methodology preferred.
  • Basic understanding of API-based data ingestion & automation preferred.
  • Experience in training and mentoring individuals or teams preferred.
  • A deep curiosity and desire to learn new technologies and processes.
  • Ability to examine workflows and system processes with an eye towards increasing efficiencies.
  • Excellent communication, research skills, and clear writing.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Expert skills in Microsoft Office programs and Excel.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce and Tableau.
  • Ability to design and implement new technical solutions into operational workflows.
  • Ability to develop a strong network across business units.
  • Advanced knowledge of citizen developer and project management concepts.
  • Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage projects, including development of strategies, action steps, and timelines.
  • Ability to translate abstract ideas into manageable and appropriate action items and help provide direction if tasks are unclear.

We are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $79,600 - $99,500, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This position is also eligible to participate in our annual corporate Success Sharing bonus program, which is based on the company's annual performance. If you are hired at Vituity, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience.
