Customer Service Specialist

***Competitive Pay starting at $46,000/annually

Position Purpose

As a valued member of the team, your role will be part of the sales team reporting to the Sales Team Manager. This will require communication with the operations and dispatch teams on a daily basis to manage customer orders, while providing a high level of service and delivery to our customers. You will also support our field based Sales Managers as directed.

Main Responsibilities:

The main activities of the position include but are not limited to the following:

  • Enter customer orders into the system according to customer requirements
  • Work with operations and dispatch to provide availability and dispatch information to customers
  • Daily interaction with UK Team
  • Assist in the preparation of weekly and monthly sales performance reports
  • Assist in the preparation of customer price lists and surcharges
  • Log customer complaints into the system and ensure follow up within agreed timescales
  • Issue customer credits following approval
  • Ensure all documentation and processes are followed to be SOX compliant
  • Provide support and data analysis to field sales managers as and when required
  • Provide support for and occasionally attend exhibitions
  • Implement and maintain sales team procedures and suggest improvements where required
  • Other duties as requested

Experience:

  • Related experience in a customer service environment
  • Experience of using MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
