Job description

This is a remote position. We are a global team that leverages the latest technology to communicate with our colleagues across the globe.  There may be times in which this role would be required to travel to a local office for in-person collaborations with your team.

Being a Solutions Consultant (Legal) at iManage Means…

You are a legal tech extraordinaire and love helping clients embrace high tech cloud solutions and interacting with them to solve problems along the way. As the subject matter expert in the sales cycle, you are responsible for actively driving and managing the product evaluation and demo stage of the sales process for law firms and corporate legal departments. You will work in conjunction with Account Executives as the key subject matter and product expert for both the iManage Closing Folders (iCF) and iManage Conflicts Manager (iCM) solutions. Our team of Solutions Consultants works closely with global internal iManage teams such as Product Management, Engineering, Cloud Operations, Professional Services, Channels and Alliances, Customer Success and Support teams.

iM Responsible For…
 
  • Leading the customer pre-sale experience through the development and delivery of all solutions presentations and product demonstrations for our legal transaction management product (Closing Folders) and Risk & Compliance product (Conflicts Manager).
  • Staying up-to-date on all product developments and field messaging to effectively communicate value to customers and prospects.
  • Working with internal teams to maintain and optimize demonstration systems based on our sales requirements and feedback from the field.
  • Collaborating with the wider global sales team to support customer product evaluations of Closing Folders and Conflicts Manager.
  • Representing iManage as a subject matter and solutions expert at field events, such as conferences and trade shows.
  • Demonstrating thought leadership in the areas of Legal Transaction Management and Risk and Compliance.
  • Embedding within the product management teams to contribute to our product roadmap with relevant ideas and field feedback.

iM Qualified Because I Have…
 
  • 3+ years of experience working as a Solutions Consultant for a SaaS company within the legal tech industry. 
  • A demonstrated background conducting a high volume of software demos to diverse legal audiences. 
  • A passion for applying technology to solve real-world problems for legal professionals and an eagerness to leverage my legal experience to effectively explain and demonstrate technical solutions to legal professionals in a language that resonates with them.
  • Proven to be able to effectively collaborate with senior sales executives on complex and diverse opportunities.
  • Comfort presenting complex solutions to a diverse audience that may include executives, lawyers, and technical staff and handling questions and objections appropriately
  • A proven capability to communicate professionally in emails, RFPs, and product demonstrations.
  • Experience and comfort with the following:
    • Microsoft Windows and Office 365
    • Desktop virtualization software such as VMWare, Parallels, etc.
    • Mac OS and Apple iOS experience a plus
    • Basic installation and configuration of desktop software
    • Embracing new tools and technologies as they become available
  • Comfortable with up to 10-20% travel when required
