What You Will Do: 

  • Develop & Implement the NA logistics procurement strategy for spend in scope
  • Support and empower regional logistics teams to agree with and across all Cimpress BU’s to identify and execute logistics initiatives
  • Understand, Support & Implement the Cimpress Strategy and Objectives
  • Deliver continuous improvement & innovation of logistics spend across NA businesses
  • Secure best in class customer delivery experience availability across NA businesses
  • Develop senior supplier relations to provide market innovation to support the NA logistics objectives
  • Develop the required business relations and trust across Cimpress NA and peers in other regions
  • Ensure that NA logistics will achieve its commercial KPIs and TCO targets as required in the business’ budgets
  • Own the relationship with Freight Forwarders and Logistics Service Providers in NA in close coordination with its Cimpress business partners
  • Identify opportunities, make valuable contributions, and improve the TCO at all regional Cimpress
  • Identify new sourcing opportunities with current and potential suppliers, working proactively with global and local procurement, the business’ management and functions
  • Develop relationships with freight forwarders, 3PLs and other companies in the logistics and e-commerce market, identifying opportunities
  • Identify new logistics services and innovations for the Cimpress group – NA
  • Create and systematically document market intelligence for logistics, supporting the business logistics teams on demand with best in class reporting to supervise and manage performance, costs and service levels businesses
  • Support in scope Cimpress plants for all their contractual, financial or market requirements relative to logistics
  • Actively manage Suppliers, including regular performance ratings, strategic evaluations/segmentation, and developing plans for key supplier’s development
  • Collect data, analyze and provide meaningful information, both internal and from the logistics industry and products in the region
  • Provide multiple sourcing options to guarantee business continuity and minimize risk
  • Manage NDA’s and Supplier agreements with support from the Legal Team
  • Support in trouble shooting and de-escalation

  • Bachelor degree (master preferred) in business administration, finance of engineering
  • At least 10 years’ international logistics experience
  • Managing regional or global logistics processes both in – and outbound
  • Managing large budgets and responsible for high value contracts
  • Experienced user of MS Office and Google Workspace applications
  • Technology savvy, interest in new technologies and its adoption
  • Analytical skills, good knowledge of business analysis and costing – TCO models
  • Excellent negotiator, fluent and persuasive in English
  • Experience in a large international corporate environment with multiple businesses, operating a decentralized management structure
  • Good level of legal knowledge, able to read and interpret contracts, and involve the legal department only when necessary
  • Strong knowledge in E-Commerce challenges, concepts, practices and procedures
  • Strong background in Last Mile and Freight strategies (B2C, B2B & Drop Shipment)
  • Strong background in inbound strategies (Air, Sea & Road)
  • Working in an international team in multiple locations
  • Strong project management skills
  • Executive management skills to work with Management Teams at Cimpress or suppliers
  • People Management, able to interact with a broad spectrum of experience levels, skill sets, business levels and communication methods
  • Effective communication skills: Able to clearly communicate thoughts and ideas, both verbally and in writing
  • Culturally savvy: understanding the cultural differences in a global business environment
  • Be a team player and have the ability to build trust-based relationships with internal and external stakeholders to effectively influence to provide ideas and support initiatives
  • Ability to understand team expectations and focus on critical priorities
  • Experience working under tight deadlines, with financial targets
  • Confidence to work in an environment where instructions are not always provided and own thoughts and ideas are required.
  • Comfortable working in a constant and fast changing environment
  • Confidently converse with and present to senior management and external partners
  • The capacity to influence areas that are not under your direct control to achieve objectives
  • Available to travel 20% of his/her time globally, with peaks of 30%
  • Comfortable working remote and under tight deadlines
  • Ready to be creative and resolve problems on his/her own
