We have 4 vacancies for Procurement Project Managers to join our Global Supply Chain team in the UK! It is an exciting time to join the Procurement Team. You will be part of a global team that will be working on a number of major projects in support of NetZero 2050. These projects vary in size and complexity. These opportunites will be responsible for leading procurement initiatives, working with cross-functional teams with varying levels of stakeholders – both internally and externally.

The ideal Procurement Project Managers will have broad supply chain skills and ideally have experience of services and equipment for major projects, including Engineering Procurement Construction and Commissioning (EPCC). You will be the direct procurement interface to our internal customers: Engineering, Quality and Sales Departments, and Project Managers. You will have strong commercial relationship and engagement skills with suppliers with the goal to provide clear, timely and innovative solutions to the organisation’s requests.

Your Day To Day

• Development and lead the delivery of sourcing procurement strategies and plans. Identify and capture the demand, identify potential suppliers and establish a communication channels
• Establish and deliver pricing, delivery, terms and conditions.
• Understand all the key operational and commercial elements of suppliers.
• Analysis of supplier capacity, capability and manufacturing processes compared to project requirements
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and the Company’s policies and procedures
• Leading contract preparation and purchasing process.
• Utilisation of Best-Cost Country Sourcing, with emphasis on middle/east Europe.
  
  

Who You Are

• Ideally qualified to degree in business or engineering or equivalent level.
• A number of years’ experience and knowledge of procurement. Including subject matter expertise of procurement and be able to lead complex strategic projects
• Strong analytical experience and have problem-solving skills
• Ability to develop and maintain relationship with suppliers and internal stakeholders of varying levels
• Be able to work as part of a team collaborating with multiple functions & product lines
• Microsoft Project, SAP, Ariba expertise or similar systems experience would be an advantage
• Expérience of working on global project would be an ideal
• Expectation to travel throughout the UK as needed, however, we will consider candidates for REMOTE roles in country
