We are looking for a talented individual…

To join our team as a Senior Procurement Buyer!  As a Senior Buyer you will play a key role in supporting all procurement activities for the organization. Responsible for assigned direct procurement categories and development of supply chain.  Advocate for procurement policies and procedures across the organization. Represent purchasing in cross-functional team projects to meet the key objectives.

For this exciting career opportunity, you will…

  • Lead procurement sourcing efforts of goods and services in support of Energy Efficiency commodities.
  • Engage suppliers in contract/price negotiations – including price agreements, delivery and payment terms, price escalation clauses if applicable, supplier agreements, etc.
  • Provide guidance on invoicing and payment discrepancies; resolve issues regarding PO to invoice discrepancies.
  • Mitigate potential supplier risks and foster supplier partnership through conducting effective vendor business reviews.  
  • Receive, review, and execute purchase requisitions and purchaser orders.
  • Increase spend under management through supplier consolidation, price negotiations and execution of category strategies.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to develop sourcing plans to support material forecasting and demand.

In this exciting career opportunity, you will have…

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or another related field preferred.
  • 5+ years’ experience of relevant experience with direct materials and/or supply chain.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong sense of matrix environment with ability to effectively work within a team environment across North America and different time zones.
  • Ability to manage small and large sourcing projects.
  • Proactive and self-starter, with end-to-end supply chain experience.
  • CPIM, CPSM, or SPSM certified preferred, but not required. 

Compensation Range

$69,300.00 - $103,900.00
