What you will be doing: Production (Tier 3) support: triaging support requests from internal Customer Service & external partner support, identifying root causes, and identifying and providing workaroundsProduction (Tier 3) on-call rotationBug hunting: providing feedback to developers on issues found in production environments. Reviewing Datadog logging and using tools to identify which team and part of the application is causing the defectQuality advocacy: be responsible for speaking for the QA team's vision and strategyDocument and keep current runbooksBuild and facilitate building of Knowledge Base articlesObserve and report with an eye on continuous process improvement across engineeringAddress bugs and production issues with an eye towards 99.999% uptimeAPI Testing and monitoring What you should bring:1-3 years experience with testing mobile and web stacks1-2 years experience with Python or Javascript scriptingExperience with SQL queries for data validation and investigationsExperience creating/troubleshooting scripts with Python or JavascriptExperience testing API calls with PostmanDebugging skills: ability to identify what part of the stack is causing issues with a mobile customer flow, and ability to engage the right people to rally around issuesExperience with DataDog, NewRelic, Zabbix, Prometheus, Nagios or other monitoring applicationsBroad understanding of testing IOS, Android mobile applicationsBroad understanding with CI/CD tooling and TerraformTechnologies we use:MySQL Aurora, DynamoDB, Snowflake, RedisPython, JavascriptNode.js, Java, Spring BootReact, Redux, Swift, KotlinREST, graphQL, gRPCAWS, EKS, LambdaOur stance on salaries
Greenlight provides a competitive compensation package with a market-based approach to pay and will vary depending on your location, experience and skill set. The total compensation package for this position will also include a discretionary performance bonus, equity rewards, medical benefits, 401K match, and more. Greenlight conducts continuous compensation evaluations across departments and geographies to ensure we are keeping our pay current and competitive.
The estimated base pay range for this position in (NY, CA, WA): $90,000- 110,000
The estimated base pay range for this position in (CO): $90,000 - 100,000
