Texas Security General Insurance Agency seeks a Personal Lines Associate for its team in San Antonio, Texas!

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Under the direct supervision of the Personal Lines Team Leader, the PL Associate’s main responsibility is to provide quality customer service assistance to retail agents, Marketing Reps and assigned UW’s as needed and necessary in a timely, efficient, friendly and accurate manner to include a timely turnaround time on all processing duties.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Review and process all NB applications (upon approval by the UW) for completed information and request additional information required for properly completing and documenting the file within 30 days.

  • “Scrub” every new business submission received following the process in place for this.

  • Review and process all endorsement requests within 48 hours.

  • Review cancellations and process within 48 hours.

  • Follow up on all required outstanding information and documentation as requested.

  • Process all emails and faxes received within 48 hours and set up diary notes to follow up as needed.  This includes applications, endorsements, cancellation requests, requested information and attach to policy. 

  • Process return mail (invoices) within 10 days and send other return mail to Agents on a monthly basis.

  • Provide quality customer service to the retail agents regarding company information and all UW related customer service inquiries, including but not limited to, mortgagee calls, cancellation calls, follow up on apps and photos, assistance with navigating our on-line quoting system, payments and reinstatements.

  • Review photos/inspections from Reliable Reports and request additional information or repairs from the retail agent as outlined in the inspection report. Close policy using the provided checklist.

  • Provide quality customer service to retail agents regarding company information and all UW related customer service inquiries.

  • Train retail agents on our on-line quoting systems as necessary.

  • Work Diary submissions on a daily and timely basis.

  • Process all endorsements on a daily and timely basis.

  • Ability to perform related work as requested by Management.

WHAT TOU WILL NEED:

  • High school or higher education level with preferred insurance experience or the ability to obtain a P&C insurance license in Texas.

  • Ability to multi-task and perform expectations in a highly stressful environment.

  • Above average communication skills.

  • Ability to proofread and maintain a high level of accuracy.

  • Ability to resolve insurance issues and provide solutions for the retail agent.

  • Must be available to work overtime as required by the work flow demand.

  • Professional and friendly attitude and mannerism.

  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills.

  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

  • Ability to advance to Underwriter position based upon performance, availability, eligibility and interview by Management.
