Our client is a Sydney-based accounting and advisory firm dedicated to collaborating closely with clients to enhance their individual and business performance. They deliver insightful and timely reports that empower clients to make strategic and impactful decisions in real-time.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience working in a tax role within an Australian public accounting practice.
  • Experience working with small to medium-sized businesses
  • Extensive experience with Xero and Xero Practice Manager. Knowledge handling FYI would be an advantage.
  • Proactive and positive attitude to work.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build reports and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent time management in meeting internal and external deadlines.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to providing exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of financial statements and tax returns, BAS, and IAS for a diverse range of small business clients including companies, trusts, and sole traders.
  • Assist with ad hoc bookkeeping tasks.
  • Assist with cash flow management, tax planning, and compliance.
  • Completion of ATO and ASIC registrations.
  • Collaborate closely with the director to ensure client needs are met and exceeded
  • Utilize the latest accounting software and technology to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and ensure your ongoing success in the role.  

Working Hours:

04:00 am - 12:00 pm (Sri Lanka time), Monday to Friday
