Seven Starling is seeking a seasoned Clinical Director to join our leadership team. This role is instrumental in designing, implementing, and scaling our clinical organization model while simultaneously leading and developing our clinical team. The ideal candidate will be adept at creating scalable structures and processes that support our expansion across multiple states and into new patient demographics, all while fostering a culture of clinical excellence and professional growth.

What you’ll do
  • Lead and inspire a diverse clinical team, fostering a culture of clinical excellence, commitment to our mission, and team collaboration
  • Oversee care services and programs to drive improved outcomes and patient satisfaction
  • Develop and implement strategies for clinical team retention and satisfaction
  • Support clinical team recruitment initiatives to attract top-tier talent
  • Design and implement a scalable clinical organizational model including staffing models, service delivery frameworks, and quality assurance systems
  • Develop and rollout training programs that ensure consistent, high quality care across all clinicians and service modalities
  • Establish and report out on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the clinical team
  • Create standardized policies, protocols, and best practices that can be efficiently replicated across new locations and service areas
  • Champion the voice of the clinical team within the business organization

  • Who you are
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., MD (Psychiatrist), PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LPC, or equivalent)
  • Current, unrestricted mental health license
  • 10+ years of clinical experience, with at least 5+ years in a high visibility leadership role
  • Seasoned leadership, communication, and change management experience, with at least 5+ years of direct experience overseeing a provider team
  • Proven track record in designing and scaling clinical operations nationally as well as across commercial and Medicaid patient populations
  • Experience in developing and implementing organizational models in healthcare settings
  • Excellent strategic thinking and planning skills, with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans
  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
