Business Unit: Development Assessment

Title: Planner, Temporary - Full-time Role, 35 hours per week

Salary Range: $89907.72 to $104487.69 per annum + super (subject to skills and experience)

Our opportunity:
The key focus areas of this role include: 
1) Ability to manage a number of planning applications simultaneously which deliver timely and accurate assessment of planning applications
2) Acting as an expert witness in Land and Environment Court appeals, including their managing, and representing Council at planning panels (Northern Beaches Local Planning Panel Sydney North Planning Panel)
3) Attending to planning enquires, providing planning advice and providing high level customer service to the residents of the Northern Beaches
4) Continuous Improvement of systems, processes and tools in the assessment of planning applications
