At Scopely, we care deeply about what we do and want to inspire play, every day - whether in our work environments alongside our talented colleagues, or through our deep connections with our communities of players. We are a global team of game lovers who are developing, publishing and innovating the mobile games industry, connecting millions of people around the world daily.

What You Will Do
We are on the hunt for a Senior Product Manager, who will take charge of the strategic development and meticulous refinement of the in-game economy for an unannounced title in our Action Division. This role is pivotal, extending beyond conventional monetization efforts to encapsulate player engagement, retention, and the nurturing of social interactions within the game's ecosystem. As a leader, you will conceptualize and implement an economy that not only optimizes revenue generation but also solidifies player relationships and community engagement.
  • Craft and be responsible for the economic framework for our products, including currency systems, pricing strategies, inflation control, and reward mechanisms
  • Architect and evolve our in-game economy to establish a balanced and enduring framework, ensuring we remain a timeless title
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including game designers, developers, analytics, and marketing to align the game economy with overall product goals
  • Design and implement sophisticated economic models to predict player behavior and advise strategic decisions, driving the product's long-term success
  • Continuously seek and integrate user feedback and market analysis to refine economic models and product offerings
  • Apply data analytics to gain insights into player behaviors, guiding strategic adjustments that boost retention, improve social interactions, and enhance monetization
  • Communicate economic concepts and strategies efficiently to partners at all levels, including presentations to senior management
  • Research and analyze competitor’s games and economies to help inform and influence our overall strategy
What We’re Looking For
  • Product ownership prowess, with a proactive mentality and the capacity to engage deeply in one of the mobile gaming industry's standout titles
  • At least 3+ years in a product management role being responsible for F2P game economies
  • Superb proficiency with spreadsheets, data visualization, and crafting compelling presentations that distill sophisticated concepts into clear, impactful messages
  • A robust educational background in Economics, Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related analytical field
  • Exemplified collaborative skills, with experience in collaborating with Product, Design, and LiveOps teams
  • A deep-seated passion for gaming, with understanding of player motivations and market dynamics
  • Proficient skills in SQL, R, Python, and/or other analytics and modeling platforms
For candidates in CA, CO, NJ, NY and WA, the annual salary range is $145,000- $178,000, plus equity, bonus and benefits including healthcare benefits, retirement benefits, pet insurance, paid holidays, paid Scopely free days, and unlimited paid time-off. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
