As our Revenue Cycle Analyst, you will be responsible for performing detailed, forensic analysis of hospital claims data to identify opportunities to improve hospital revenue and cash flow through claim pursuit and improved operations. Every day you will excel in the areas of underpayment identification and revenue recovery, managed care contracting, negotiation strategy and contract compliance and the implementation of gainsharing and other physician/hospital collaboration activities. To thrive in this role you must be an expert in the Revenue Cycle Process, enjoy working with data, and presenting that data to leadership.

Here’s What You Can Expect

  • Review hospital-managed care contracts to determine expected reimbursement.

  • Presenting findings to team and leadership

  • Analyzing hospital claims data to identify contractual underpayments and billing errors.

  • Pursuing underpayments with third-party payors via correspondence and phone calls.

  • Working with hospital clients to obtain necessary information or data to pursue underpayments or correct billing errors.

  • Running reports and queries in Microsoft Excel

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years' experience in Revenue Cycle

  • Intermediate Excel experience (pivot tables, v lookup, working with large data sets)

  • Strong communicator – verbal and written communication to give specifics and details to document work completed

For this US-based position, the base pay range is $43,948.00 - $67,072.00 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
