This is a remote position.

This sign industry job requires an experienced Signage Estimator, or also open to those who've had responsibility for estimating as part of broader role, e.g. Project Managers. In addition, this Signage Estimator jobs flexible on it's location, and can be based remotely or either out of our clients offices in the Manchester or Surrey areas.

Currently, the business is in an exciting phase, having completed an MBO a few years ago the company is led by a dynamic and well experienced leadership team.

Significantly, this full service sign company is enjoying strong growth and currently turns over just shy of £5M. As a result, we're now recruiting for a several new roles, on their behalf, including this Signage Estimating job vacancy.

About this Signage Estimators job

This Signage Estimators job core function is to support the commercial success of new business, and existing customer, project proposals and ultimately wins. Notably, the sign estimators job responsibilities will include:

• Liaising with internal teams, e.g. sales, account management, project management, production, installations etc
  
• Producing accurate cost estimates for new client projects and existing repeat business
  
• Recommending appropriate materials, specifications and processes to value engineer products
  
• Sourcing and accurately recording prices of materials and sub-contract suppliers
  
• Maintaining accurate supplier, contractor and internal cost records
  
• Negotiating with suppliers and contractors
  

You

So, to be considered for this Sign Estimators job you will need proven experience of working within a sign estimating job function, and capable of demonstrating:

• Strong numeracy skills.
  
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, in particular Excel.
  
• Professional, reliable and well organised.
  
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Able to produce accurate work with strong attention to detail.
  
• Working knowledge of Clarity would also be useful.
