Your missions

Preferred Candidate Location: Southeast USA (Orlando, Jacksonville, Charleston, Atlanta, Mobile, Pittsburgh, Kansas City)  This is a remote role requiring travel.

We are seeking a Construction Cost Estimator to join our dynamic team specializing in government/commercial cost estimating and project controls. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of construction methods and the ability to develop cost estimates for both horizontal and vertical construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare independent cost estimates at all design phases.
  • Review and validate cost estimates.
  • Support value engineering, facility programming, cost analysis, and risk analysis.
  • Provide cost engineering services for commercial and military construction (DoD, DOE).
  • Utilize tools like MCACES (MII), PACES, Success, Primavera, and Crystal Ball.

Qualifications:

  • 2-7 years of experience in construction, engineering, or cost estimating.
  • Experience in commercial/federal construction cost estimating.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with local construction market pricing and trends.
  • Ability to develop estimates from limited information and interpret design documents.
  • Proficiency in quantity take-offs and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • CCP or CEP certification (or ability to obtain within six months).
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Experience with USACE, AFCEE, NAVFAC, or DOE construction programs.
  • Knowledge of MII, PACES, RSMeans, and Success Estimator is a plus.
