Job description

As the Content Marketing Advisor, you will be responsible for owning content strategy and execution for healthcare leadership audiences. The right candidate is a B2B creative marketing professional, preferably with a writing and content background, and familiarity with US healthcare.

This position includes working closely with the greater marketing team, as well as product and sales stakeholders to achieve marketing priorities.  The Content Marketing Advisor leads the development, execution and deployment of marketing content, and works alongside the marketing leadership team to identify and implement appropriate content strategies.  The Content Marketing Advisor is charged with ensuring content development strategy and its associated output are continually analyzed against market and product trends to determine effectiveness. Shepherding strategic thinking into actionable projects and plans, the Content Marketing Advisor will work with internal and external creative resources to own projects through completion.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Ownership of a content calendar, working cross-functionally to create engaging content across media (webinars, collateral, white papers, conference presentations, blogs, guides, etc.).

  • Shepherd the creation of content from initial discovery/inquiry through to scope development and delivery

  • Collaborate with external PR agency to develop strategy to reach our target market with thought leadership, and convey company strategy, positioning and messaging. Establish relationships with defined media outlets to continue to position TruBridge as a resource for experts for association and editorial writers/editors.

  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of content from clients and internal stakeholders that are proof points of the benefit(s) and differentiating value that our company delivers through our technology, products, services and partnerships.

  • Constantly evaluate communications and messaging from a client perspective on how we can better communicate using proof points and reasons-to-believe in order to build trust and advocates.

  • Ultimately, the candidate should be able to bring imagination and enthusiasm to the task of developing and refining our content strategy

  • Analyzes brand performance, brand competitiveness, and product trends in the marketplace and develops marketing strategies for a brand.

  • Develops and reviews marketing metrics to determine the effectiveness and value of marketing strategies or campaigns.

  • Leads the development, curation, and deployment of marketing content and identifies effective sales channels.

  • Translates marketing initiatives into specific projects and actionable plans.

  • Works with management and team leaders to identify and implement appropriate sales strategies or improve direction for current campaigns.

  • Ensures product and brand initiatives are consistent and support the organization's public image.

 

Essential Functions: In addition to working as prescribed in our Performance Factors specific responsibilities of this role include:

  • As the Content Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for owning content strategy and execution for healthcare leadership audiences
  • Responsibilities include building and owning a content calendar, working cross-functionally to create engaging content across media (webinars, collateral, white papers, conference presentations, blogs, guides, etc.)
  • Assistance and support for the creation of advertising tactics as necessary
  • Design content marketing strategies and set quarterly content goals
  • Lead content marketing initiatives to achieve business objectives
  • Collaborate with Marketing team to develop key assets for marketing campaigns
  • Champion product value messaging, GTM framework and TruBridge bran
  • Deliver engaging content on a regular basis that advances the TruBridge story
  • Ensure style consistency, edit, proofread and constantly improve content
  • Lead and champion quality assurance for all external content
  • Manage content creation bandwidth by strategically leveraging external creative support
  • Ideate and develop content promotional plans for content distribution
  • Gather feedback and ideas for content from across the business and customers
  • Interview customers, internal SMEs and industry experts

 

Minimum Requirements:

Education/Experience/Certification Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • 5+ years of B2B marketing experience

  • 3+ years of experience marketing to healthcare organizations

·         Excellent communicator (written and oral) with ability to influence across all levels in the organization

  • Experience owning and executing a content and thought leadership strategy and annual content calendar

  • Ability to travel occasionally within the US (3-5x/year)

  • Experience building presentations for conferences and/or webinars.

  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.

  • Must be detail oriented and able to follow through on issues to resolution.

  • Must be able to act both independently and as a team member.

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of health technology marketplace
  • Project management skills and experience managing a marketing workflow platform
  • Editorial experience with an ability to understand audience preferences
  • Experience managing and working with outside creative agencies, writers and designers
  • Experience leveraging AI solutions to assist in workflow or content strategy
