Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot issues with NCA customers to determine root cause of application error messages and system issues over Team, email, and phone.
  • Troubleshoot Windows Desktop issues as it relates to the use of the Memorial applications (Java, internet settings / browser compatibility).
  • Execute canned SQL queries to return data for reports, update / delete data in tables to resolve application errors and data inconsistencies.
  • Modify existing SQL queries to return specific data or make appropriate changes dependent on the customer’s issue.
  • Monitor and respond to email communications from customer.
  • Monitor and work tickets from a ServiceNow que, prioritizing work based on time-sensitivity of requests.
  • Coordinate with DBA’s, Unix Admins and developers to resolve complex system issues.
  • Complete tickets with-in pre-determined SLAs and document in detail, solution to customer issues in ticketing system.
Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Linux / Unix, Databases (Oracle/MSSQL), customer support, attention to detail.
  • Proven experience in Customer Service
  • High level of attention to detail
  • High degree of resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Team player that works independently with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of databases, and client/server applications
  • Familiarity with Windows 10, and desktop applications such as Java and IE/Edge/Chrome
  • Familiarity with SQL queries
  • Familiarity with Unix Based operating systems
  • Familiarity helpdesk ticketing systems

Education:

  • AA or 2 year technical school in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Graduate of Technical School or equivilent PLUS 5 Years of experience
  • Four (4) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education

 

Clearance: 

  • The ability to pass a Tier 2/Moderate Background Investigation 

 

Location:

  • Remote, USA
  • Monday - Friday (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM EST)

 

Pay Range:

  • The pay for this position ranges from $35,730 to $49,500
  • The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location
  • Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses
