This remote position offers a unique opportunity to utilize your expertise in property tax while contributing to our mission of driving transformation in the PropTech industry.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Manage client engagements and uphold robust client relationships.
  • Supervise daily activities to ensure the successful execution of client engagements (such as assessment appeals and tax bill payments).
  • Review and enhance the work of analysts and consultants, fostering their professional growth.
  • Conduct data analysis and tax research to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with state and local authorities to negotiate property tax issues.
  • Build and nurture client relationships and professional networks through consistent communication with stakeholders.
  • Advance your property tax knowledge through ongoing participation in educational events.
  • Contribute to practice development by identifying process enhancements and leveraging market trends.
  • Assist in business development initiatives by serving as a subject matter expert during the sales process.

Required Skills

To excel in this position, candidates should possess:

  • Relevant property tax experience, particularly in real property or real estate.
  • Familiarity with property tax budgeting, forecasting, and accruals.
  • Experience with property tax software (e.g., itamlink, OPT, PTMS) is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • An ability to perform effectively under pressure.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including written, oral, reporting, and presentation abilities.

Qualifications

  • Property tax experience is required.
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not essential.
