Commissions Analyst needed for a Contract opportunity with Yoh’s client located in (Remote with proximity to offices in NYC, Holmdel, NJ, Bethlehem, PA, or Pittsfield, MA).

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in Broker-Dealer Firms:
    Candidates should have extensive experience working with broker-dealer firms, understanding the complexities of commissions and compensation structures.
  • Financial Services Experience:
    5-10 years of experience in financial services, with a focus on compensation management and commission processing.
  • Technical Skills:
    Proficient in Excel for data analysis and processing commission-related transactions.
  • End Client Communication Experience:
    Strong communication skills with experience handling inquiries and resolving issues related to commissions.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Responsibilities:
  • Compensation Management:
    Manage compensation for various roles such as Financial Representatives (FRs), Registered Representatives (RRs), Financial Professionals (FPs), Brokers, Wholesalers, and other agents. This includes processing their contracts and ensuring accurate compensation.
  • Field Compensation:
    Interpret producer contracts and compensation schedules for the client company, Park Avenue Securities, and Berkshire, ensuring accuracy in field compensation.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    Work closely with the Agent Contracting and Licensing (ACL) team to ensure compensation aligns with state license regulations, which change frequently.
  • Commission Processing:
    Process assignment of commissions while adhering to legal requirements, and ensure the accurate dissemination of information regarding commissions.
  • Confidentiality:
    Provide confidential compensation details to various internal departments such as Legal, Audit, Agency Accounting Services, and Distribution Alliance.
  • Transaction Processing:
    Handle paper, NSCC, and IPS commission statements and adjustments. Identify various types of commissions (regular, 12b-1’s, mixed transactions) and product types (mutual fund, variable annuity, variable life, brokerage, RIA business).
  • Customer Service:
    Address commission-related inquiries, provide problem research, resolution, and ensure accurate dissemination of information to internal and external stakeholders.
