Job Description

Location: Remote near Pleasanton, CA, is preferred, followed by Austin, TX. Other locations in the US may also be considered but need to be able to work west coast hours (8:30/9:15 to 5:00/5:45 pm PST/PDT (based on DST)).

Work with Oracle's Customer success Services team to develop, implement, and support Business Intelligence product on Oracle's global infrastructure (OCI). We are looking for a strong Oracle Business Intelligence technical & functional consultant who thrives on solving complex business problems by implementing and supporting various modules. Candidate should have 10+ years of strong experience in Techno-Functional role and have led multiple implementations/upgrades and maintained production environments. Business Intelligence tools like Tableau and Power BI a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or an equivalent engineering/science field.
  • Background on Oracle Fusion SaaS application and Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) / FAW (FDI) / OAS.
  • Hands on working experience on OBIEE (11g, 12c), BIApps, DAC, ODI, DB (19c and above).
  • Functional experience with OAC, OAS and Data Warehouse.
  • Supporting the FDI, OAC/OAS, OBIEE, BIApps solution post go-live.
  • Basic knowledge Linux OS, Network configuration.
  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms and services and an eagerness to deepen your expertise.
  • Complex technical problem-solving competence and ability to conceptualize innovative solutions.
  • Cloud Admin experience in OCI or other clouds Azure, AWS a plus.
  • DevOps skills – Python, Docker, Kubernetes will be added advantage.
  • Latest certifications in Oracle Cloud Infra & Oracle OBIEE technologies a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills (from an Applications/Functional/Operational perspective) with the ability to exercise mature judgement and closing it with root cause analysis / CAPA.
  • Able to operate independently to provide quality work products; perform varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgement.
  • Goal-oriented for technology and a strong desire to learn about AI/ML, Natural language processing, and innovative technologies.
  • Strong analytical skills and critical thinking abilities.

Responsibilities

As an integral part of the Customer Success Service Business Intelligence Team, you will be responsible for:

  • Analyzing functional and operational issues reported by the customer with their Oracle Analytics Cloud/Data Warehouse environment and provide the solution or workaround on time.
  • Interacting with customer implementation team and provide guidance on the Oracle Product Best Practices.
  • Assisting on the development of customer solutions (pre-implementation), as well as addressing customer questions and concerns regarding the functionality of their Oracle OACS/Fusion Data Intelligence environments (post-implementation, ongoing maintenance).
  • Performing root cause analyses and recommend meaningful recommendations to the customers to avoid similar issues going forward.
  • Collaborating with Partners internally within Oracle and on customer side for successful delivery.
  • Customer Management.
  • Working with remote and geographically distributed customers to enable building the analytics solutions.
  • Owning/driving key end to end product/services while being very technically hands-on.
  • Ensuring customer success including delivering enhancements/bug fixes as needed.
  • Monitoring the ODI or Informatica ETL Jobs and address any failures in a quick manner to ensure the Analytics data is current, and the OBIEE Agents and Report jobs.
  • Working closely with internal and external partners to gather requirements and design complex business application extensions and data integration solutions.
  • Post go live support of customer environment, Monitoring environments & Incident Mgmt with root cause analysis / CAPA.

US: Hiring Range: from $41.83 - $85.67 per hour; from $87,000 - $178,200 per year. May be eligible for equity.
