We are searching for an experienced Sales Executive to:

  • Achieve our short and long term goals of purposefully growing our sales and market share in the retail market.
  • Use your experience and skills in selling Oracle’s retail services to a named set of accounts.
  • Maintain professional and ethical conduct.
  • Collaborate with Oracle constituents including marketing, product development, sales consultants, and consulting partners to achieve sales goals within your named accounts.
  • Sell Oracle’s Retail Cloud Services to existing and new customers.
  • Establish relationships at all levels in the accounts that are assigned to you.


Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with business and IT teams at assigned accounts to understand business goals, objectives and requirements, and to develop solutions with Oracle Retail’s cloud services that enable customers to achieve the desired value and benefit from the use of Oracle’s services.
  • Maintain and establish relationships with current and future customers at all levels of their organization.
  • Develop and implement a territory plan for sales to achieve goals and objectives for sales revenue.
  • Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning within the Oracle systems and processes.
  • Develop and deliver sales and solution proposals encompassing all aspects of Oracle Retail’s services to current and prospective customers.
  • Negotiate pricing and contractual agreements to close sales opportunities.
  • Identify and develop strategic alignment with our partner community.
  • Lead as contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others.


Qualifications:

  • Ideal locations for candidates include Dallas, TX, Houston, TX, Oklahoma City, OK, Minneapolis, MN, Iowa, Nebraska or Missouri. We'd like the candidate to be in driving distance of Dallas, TX.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. MBA is a plus.
  • 5 years proven experience in the retail industry or selling technology solutions in the retail industry.
  • Complex selling experience with large and small retail companies.
  • Experience in developing sales strategies, plans and driving them resulting is sales revenue.
  • Experience in working with partners in the retail industry.
  • Proven success in sales.
  • Experience in opening and developing relationships at all levels organizations.
  • Proficient in the use of excel, work and power point.
  • Excellent in written and verbal communications.

Responsibilities

Primary job duty is to sell business applications software/solutions and related services to prospective and existing customers. Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning. Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application. Participate in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers.

US: Hiring Range: from $93,000 - $185,200 per year. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 45 / 55 - 50 / 50.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
