This team will focus on product development and product strategy for Oracle Health, while building out a complete platform supporting modernized, automated healthcare. The Clinical Digital Assistant team is at the forefront of revolutionizing healthcare through advanced conversational AI and clinical automation solutions. Our mission is to streamline and enhance healthcare processes, improve patient outcomes, and enable medical professionals to focus on what matters most – patient care.
In pursuit of these goals, we are looking for a Software Engineer to assist in the design, development and scaling of low-latency Data Platform tooling for our conversational AI and clinical automation platforms. In this role, you will design, architect, and deliver sophisticated software and infrastructure solutions needed to build and deploy data and AI products for high impact healthcare solutions in conjunction with senior members of the team. Join our team of experienced backend, distributed computing and data/ml platform engineers in shaping the future of healthcare technology.
Responsibilities
- Act in engineering capacity to build and productionize complex AI and ML infused systems
- Develop, maintain, and optimize high-quality code to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our software products.
- Participate in architectural discussions to ensure the adoption of best practices and alignment with the overall technology roadmap.
- Work closely with product managers to understand requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver features in a timely manner.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality and adherence to coding standards.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in software and data engineering, conversational AI, clinical automation, and healthcare IT.

Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in cloud development, architecture, and deployment.
- Strong development experience in Java, Python, C++, or similar OO languages
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience building event-based / streaming applications a strong plus
- Experience with data engineering and distributed computing architectures like Spark or Flink a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

US: Hiring Range: from $62,100 - $158,200 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
