Job description

Job Description: We are seeking an individual with experience as Senior Business Manager or Chief of Staff at the highest level to support a senior executive at Microsoft, managing their day-to-day operations, strategic initiatives, and special projects. The ideal candidate should be very comfortable speaking across the organization, managing calendars, and assisting with team meeting preparation, organizational MBRs, and People vteam (virtual team) activities. This is a remote role (WFH) in Mexico, supporting North American business hours, specifically Pacific Time.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Coordinating with various departments, tracking progress, and ensuring alignment with the company's goals.
  • Project Management: Leading or supporting key projects and initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time. This may include managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Communication and Coordination: Acting as a liaison between the executive and other employees and departments. This includes managing communications, preparing reports and presentations, and facilitating meetings.
  • Operational Support: Overseeing the daily operations of the executive's office, including managing schedules, prioritizing tasks, and handling administrative duties.
  • Problem Solving and Decision Making: Identifying and addressing issues that arise, providing recommendations, and supporting the executive in making informed decisions.


Qualifications:

  • Experience working at Microsoft
  • At least 5 years of experience as an executive assistant, senior business manager, or chief of staff, working with directors
  • Running team meetings and tracking workstreams
  • Managing the calendar of senior executives
  • Working across org divisions with virtual teams
  • Expert level of English fluency
  • Extroverted, multitasking, proactive, with strong communication skills, time management, and problem-solving abilities
