The Product Team: Led by an experienced SVP Product, our product team consists of eight talented professionals, including a Product Manager and other Product Owners. Our team is strategically located in our Rotterdam office and across various EU countries, ensuring a diverse and inclusive approach to product development. Together, we focus on delivering high-quality, user-centric products that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

We are currently looking for a Product Owner that will be in charge of automation of the high volumes of financial transactions between our customers, our company and our suppliers. To ensure low effort and high trust in the process.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, development teams, and other internal teams like finance to gather requirements and prioritise features.
• Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, considering market trends, customer feedback, and business goals.
• Conduct user research, analyse customer needs, and translate them into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Ensure product integration with financial and accounting tools (e.g., Exact) to manage billing, accounting credits, and resolve any issues related to payment processes.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that enhance the overall user experience.
• Manage the product backlog, prioritise features, and ensure timely delivery of product increments.
• Work closely with the development team during the agile development process, providing clarifications and making timely decisions.
• Stay updated with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to drive continuous innovation in our product offerings.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Strong background/experience in UX for web and/or mobile platforms.
• Highly professional proficiency in English (our working language) is a must.
• 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role, preferably in a SaaS or software development environment.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, and experience working in an agile development environment.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering software products or features from concept to launch.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the capacity to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience working with financial and accounting tools/software such as Exact, with an understanding of billing processes and accounting credits, particularly in a SaaS environment.
• A customer-centric mindset and a passion for delivering high-quality products that meet user needs.
• A continuous improvement mindset, fostering a culture of product innovation and improvement through soliciting feedback and implementing enhancements.
• Experience in the travel industry or familiarity with travel management processes is a plus.
