Job Description
Oracle is seeking a world-class PR director to drive communications for its NetSuite business in JAPAC.
As part of the global communications team, you will work closely with company leadership and colleagues across the region to tell our story to a broad range of external audiences. While this role is based in Australia, you will have responsibility for the NetSuite PR program in multiple countries and a deep knowledge of the media landscape in Australia, India, Japan, and Singapore is a must.
We are looking for a hands-on leader with a strong professional presence, exceptional writing and critical thinking skills, as well as experience leading integrated product PR programs and thought leadership campaigns. Must have proven track record of both developing and executing PR plans/recommendations.
You should be results oriented, have a strong intellectual curiosity, and be comfortable working within a highly matrixed organization. This is an exciting and fast-paced role that requires a highly collaborative self-starter with big ideas who is hungry to deliver award-winning work. PR agency experience is required.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Create unique story angles that make Oracle NetSuite product and customer news interesting to top tier technology and business journalists.
- Develop and execute media relations programs—building and maintaining reporter relationships, managing follow-through with reporters, and securing coverage.
- Engage with the regional and global communications team, senior executives, and other groups across marketing, development, sales, and customer references to uncover story angles and proof points for compelling pitches.
- Develop and implement integrated communications plans to maximize the reach and impact of news announcements.
- Conceptualize and write long-form content such as press releases, contributed articles, and executive talking points.
- Plan, coordinate, and conduct customer reference interviews to support PR activities.
- Develop social media content to support product announcements, customer stories, and key marketing campaigns.
- Develop subject matter expertise across NetSuite’s product portfolio, issues that impact our business, and the competitive landscape.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Business, Marketing, Communications, Journalism or Public Relations preferred.
- 10+ years of PR experience, including a minimum of 5 years of PR agency experience.
- Knowledge across enterprise applications, cloud, and AI.
- Ability to provide communications support and counsel to senior executives across the JAPAC market.
- Strong, pre-existing relationships with technology reporters at business and trade publications.
- Excellent writing, editing, and project management skills, and ability to thrive under pressure.
- Position is based in Australia.
