Job description

We are seeking an experienced ABAP Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom ABAP solutions to meet business needs. You will work closely with functional teams and stakeholders to enhance existing SAP systems and develop new functionalities.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, forms, and enhancements.
Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Perform unit testing and assist in integration and user acceptance testing.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ABAP programs and performance.
Optimize existing ABAP code for performance and efficiency.
Document technical specifications and maintain technical documentation for reference.
Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards.
Stay updated with the latest ABAP technologies and best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in ABAP development, preferably in an SAP environment.
Strong knowledge of SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FICO).
Experience with ABAP Object-Oriented programming.
Familiarity with SAP HANA and Fiori/UI5 is a plus.
Understanding of SAP integration technologies (IDoc, BAPI, RFC).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
