About the Position:
We're looking for a talented Data Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in building and improving the foundation for our data-driven decision making.

The Impact You Will Make:

  • Partner with product, engineering, and data science teams to understand data needs and design scalable data architectures.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and loading data from various sources into our data warehouse or lake.
  • Champion data quality by implementing data validation, cleansing, and monitoring processes.
  • Design and build reusable data models and structures to support efficient data analysis and reporting.
  • Automate data workflows and processes to ensure efficient and reliable data delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to document data pipelines, data models, and data governance best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest data engineering tools and technologies (e.g., Cloud Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, Data Pipelines tools) and contribute to improving our data infrastructure.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in a data engineering role or similar technical background.
  • Strong experience with SQL and data modeling principles.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS Redshift, Snowflake, etc.) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with data pipeline tools (e.g., DBT) is a plus.
  • Experience with data quality tools and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A proactive and results-oriented work style, with a passion for building high-quality, scalable solutions.

Bonus If You Have:

  • Experience working in a startup environment.
  • Familiarity with the creator commerce industry.
  • Experience with data governance frameworks.
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python).
