Who We’re Hiring:
The Senior Financial Analyst plays a critical role in supporting financial planning and analysis activities, providing strategic insights, and driving data-driven decision-making. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to analyze financial data, develop forecasts, and generate reports to assist in driving the company's financial performance and growth.
Success in this position will require exceptional organizational skills, attention to details, creative problem solving, understanding of accounting and finance concepts, and the ability to manage many simultaneous projects and deadlines. Additionally, the successful candidate should be able to build relationships across all stakeholders. This role will have autonomy to adjust procedures and processes to make them more efficient and better aligned to company goals.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, to support strategic decision-making and drive business performance.
- Develop financial models and perform scenario analysis to evaluate business opportunities, pricing strategies, and potential risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.
- Prepare regular financial reports and presentations for senior management and key stakeholders.
- Support the development and maintenance of financial metrics and KPIs, tracking performance against targets.
- Assist in the preparation of investor materials, including board presentations, financial statements, and investor relations communications.
- Provide recommendations for process improvements and efficiency gains within the finance function.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and inform financial decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial analysis or related roles, preferably in a fast-paced technology or investment banking environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex data and communicate insights effectively.
- Experience with SQL, Python, and handling large datasets is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and variance analysis.
- Knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles is a plus.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software systems. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and a high level of integrity.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
