Title: UX Designer - Claims Portal
Duration: 4 Months +


US Designer - Claims Portal:

Job Description:

Leads the effort to define, plan, and conduct user research throughout the SDLC (beginning in the Discovery phase) and to create research guides, and conduct and synthesis iterative user research.
Outputs from the discovery phase will include journey maps, personas, and other artifacts that will inform the design and development phases.
The UX/UI Designer will also create prototypes using Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, Figma, or similar standard UX/UI software to create iterative application flows in response to the ongoing user testing.
The resources will translate creative software design concepts and ideas into reality using front end technologies to assist in requirements management and corresponding program initiatives.

OUTLINE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Organize, prioritize and project manage UX/UI design deliverables from early requirements gathering through user testing & validation to development handoff.
Create wireframes to illustrate the product features, key functionality, and information hierarchy/data mapping.
Create prototypes to explore and test design decisions with end users and stakeholders.
Oversee user testing to check assumptions and validate design decisions.
Identify, analyze and use data-driven insights, and user-testing findings to drive strategy and requirements.
Write and modify JavaScript as needed to solve user interface problems
Collaborate with in-house data and web developers to ensure smooth transition between prototypes and applications.
Create and maintain related project documentation (SharePoint, Jira, or similar tool).
Keep abreast of the latest web development technologies, particularly trends in responsive and mobile design.
Keep abreast of latest developments and trends in accessibility requirements as outlined by the Web Content Accessibility Group (2.0 / 2.1).
Contribute to the UX/UI style and design library on a regular basis and participate in office and division-level presentations to knowledge share best practices in user-centered design and ongoing development.
