Blue Sky Innovative Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Web Content Specialist to join our team. As a Web Content Specialist, you will be responsible for creating, compiling, delivering, and sustaining quality and consistent content for our websites based on management priorities, policy directives, and goals. You will also be involved in creating Internet applications, enhancements, and modifications to the website.

This is a part-time, remote-based, 40-hours-per-month (about 10 hours per week) position, which allows for flexible hours, but some of the work will occur during business hours, generally in the form of meetings and communications with the social media team for any updates and direct communications.

Responsibilities:

Write and edit web content that can be read by search engines and online audiences.
Optimize web content using required style guides and graphic standards.
Review the corporate website regularly to ensure content accuracy, timeliness, and relevance.
Test website accessibility and functionality from various environments.
Manage links and cross-promotions with other sites.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Digital Media, or related field.
Proven experience in web content creation and management.
Strong writing and editing skills.
Familiarity with SEO best practices.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and content management systems.
Knowledge of web analytics tools.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
