[Remote] Business Development Executive – Private Equity Description


Our client is looking for a Business Development Executive to add to their remote team for their Private Equity division. If you have experience in business development/selling back-office solutions to Private Equity firms, with an exceptional ability to build and foster relationships, you could be a great addition to the team. You’ll be joining a growing, stable company with a global presence and strong reputation with already established relationships with leading PE firms in the marketplace today, having been profitable for 19+ years. Most of your time will be spent developing new business opportunities by building new, and fostering existing, relationships with Private Equity firms and their portfolio companies, delivering the value proposition in the company’s back-office outsource solutions and consulting services. This is a great opportunity to transition into an entrepreneurial and self-directed environment, offering uncapped earning potential.


[Remote] Business Development Executive – Private Equity Responsibilities


• Establish new business relationships and maintain existing relationships with PE firms

• Establish and maintain relationships with technology providers

• Use personal and internal networks to establish connections with Operating Partners at PE firms

• Conduct frequent, scheduled check-ins with existing clients and partners

• Develop an understanding of goals and objectives of PE firm and their portfolio companies

• Propose services and solutions to help the needs of PE firms’ portfolio companies

• Establish relationships with Alliance partners to leverage networks

• Work with operational personnel to help craft solutions

• Manage next steps, communication, and coordination with client and internal personnel

• Draft initial Statements of Work (SOW)

• Responsible for hitting sales and margin targets

• Keep leadership up-to-date on status of business development opportunities

• Bachelor’s degree required

• 5+ years’ experience selling back-office solutions to Private Equity firms required

• Experience successfully carrying a quota of $2M or more required

• Basic understanding of accounting required

• Offshoring/BPO operational knowledge/experience required

• Ability to travel up to 10% required
