Job description

We seek a dedicated Data Analyst enthusiastic about leveraging data to drive business growth and enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate should exhibit strong analytical skills, expertise in data visualization tools like Tableau, and a proven track record of transforming raw data into meaningful charts and insights.



Responsibilities


  • Lead the analysis and visualization of data, ensuring high accuracy, relevance, and clarity.
  • Develop and articulate a clear data analysis and visualization vision in collaboration with team & stakeholders that aligns with our business objectives.
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable dashboards and reports using modern visualization tools and technologies (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, D3.js)
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and other teams to deliver compelling data-driven insights that meet organizational needs.
  • Lead initiatives to build globally shared, reusable data visualization components for the broader analytics team.
  • Optimize data visualizations for performance, scalability, and usability. Identify and address performance bottlenecks and ensure visualizations are fast and responsive.
  • Establish and enforce data analysis and visualization standards and best practices through clear documentation, review, and hands-on examples, ensuring consistency and quality across all projects.
  • Advocate for clean, intuitive, and scalable data visualization solutions.
  • Build and maintain visualization frameworks and support systems to empower the analytics team to deliver high-quality insights efficiently.
  • Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to enhance the data analysis and visualization process.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to other analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement and leading by example.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in data analysis and visualization, and proactively introduce new tools and practices to the team while encouraging innovation and experimentation to drive the company’s data strategy forward.
  • Communicate vision, ideas, and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders and ensure all team members are aligned with the project goals and understand their roles.
  • Foster a collaborative environment where feedback is actively sought and incorporated.



Qualifications:


  • 3+ years of proven experience with at least 2 years in a senior data analysis and visualization role or in a similar senior analytics position.
  • Deep expertise in data analysis and visualization technologies including SQL, Python, and modern visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and D3.js.
  • Advanced proficiency with data manipulation and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, R, Python)
  • Demonstrated ability to create scalable and intuitive data visualizations that effectively communicate insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of working effectively with various departments and stakeholders.
  • Ability to articulate and advocate for the data analysis and visualization vision to teams, stakeholders, and executives alike.
  • Experience in setting analysis standards, building visualization frameworks, and mentoring analytics teams and the ability to lead by example.
  • Proven ability to lead technical discussions and drive consensus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about technology and its impact on the business.
  • Ability to navigate complex data systems and build solutions to integrate and visualize data effectively.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
