Job description

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Sr. Database Administrator to join their team. This remote role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse and innovative team, making a significant impact on their operations.

As a Sr. Database Administrator, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Administering the documentation management system supporting the Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Resolving document management errors in the PLM system by running data queries, identifying errors, and resolving or collaborating with the IT team to resolve
  • Assisting end users in identifying and resolving issues related to the migration of documentation from previous systems
  • Supporting system migrations by preparing data for documentation, collaborating with IT teams to ensure accurate data migration, and resolving errors that occur as a result of the migration


The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Solid knowledge of document management systems
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Systems Administrator capacity
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel
  • Experience as an administrator of eNovia or other document management systems is a plus
  • Experience working with end users on troubleshooting and resolving system errors
  • Experience in a regulated environment, such as FDA Quality System Regulation (QSR) and/or ISO 13485, is beneficial
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to self-manage and consistently utilize good judgement to resolve system errors
  • Flexibility to adapt to changes and manage complexity


Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (5 years) in systems administration
