The role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager to lead two engineering teams focused on building vendor integration Extensions for our software reseller Marketplace Platform. The Marketplace Platform is a digital marketplace that seamlessly consolidates over 7,500 vendors and clients. This dynamic platform is meticulously designed to provide diverse software solutions while ensuring effective matchmaking between client needs and vendor capabilities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python and SDK development, combined with hands-on coding experience and a proven track record of leading engineering teams. This role requires an integrative leader who can drive technical excellence and foster a collaborative environment to deliver seamless and scalable extensions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage two engineering teams, ensuring alignment with company goals and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Oversee day-to-day team operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide career development support for team members.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance and contribute to coding efforts, particularly in Python and SDK development.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of integrating new vendors
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of vendor integration solutions, ensuring seamless integration with our marketplace platform.

What We Need To See From You

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in an engineering leadership role, managing and mentoring engineering teams.
• Strong hands-on coding experience in Python and familiarity with various SDKs.
• Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining vendor integrations, preferably in a software reseller or marketplace environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
