Job Description:

  • Location: Fully remote or hybrid, EU timezone (CET +/- 2hours)

Our client is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Ph.D. or equivalent specialist in Mesh & Point Cloud Processing for a permanent position (CDI).

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and refine algorithms to convert point clouds into meshes, ensuring precision, efficiency, and robustness.

  • Create and enhance methods for processing and simplifying meshes to meet specific application needs.

  • Evaluate and optimize the performance of these solutions.

  • Work closely with other developers to produce coherent and reliable products.

  • Keep up with the latest advancements in 3D data processing, bringing innovative ideas and solutions to complex challenges.


Requirements:

  • Ph.D. or equivalent expertise in Computer Graphics or a related discipline, with a focus on 3D data processing, mesh generation, or point cloud processing.

  • Strong experience in algorithm development, particularly for point cloud transformation and mesh processing.

  • Proficient in programming languages, notably C++ and Python.

  • Knowledge of relevant libraries, frameworks, and tools in 3D computer graphics and computational geometry.

  • Eagerness to learn and advance.

  • Independent, creative, and a collaborative team player.

Compensation is based on experience. A work permit for France is required. Remote work from anywhere in France is an option, though a hybrid arrangement is preferred.
