LHH is seeking a Compliance Coordinator for a full time job opportunity in Charlotte, NC. The Compliance Coordinator is tasked with overseeing the project's operations and ensuring that both the project leaders and site managers comply with the standards set by the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), which includes requirements for Apprenticeship Reporting and Prevailing Wages. This role involves close collaboration with the Human Resources (HR) team, vendors, and project teams to ensure adherence to IRA compliance standards. The ACC II will gather audit information for management by conducting research and analysis, preparing reports, and recommending necessary corrective actions.
Duties:
Provide support for various projects in meeting Apprenticeship and Prevailing Wage compliance standards
Keep track of and report on the necessary spreadsheets for each project
Work with the HR or Workforce Specialist to arrange or oversee any required testing
Collaborate with the Workforce Specialist and project teams to ensure accurate recording of time spent on tasks within the record-keeping system
Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure payroll and apprenticeship records are accurate - Review subcontractor payroll to verify accuracy
Collaborate with the Payroll team to ensure payroll reports and coding are correct
Prepare and/or update documentation to back up internal audits
Point out any discrepancies to leaders to correct issues with payroll or apprenticeship records that do not meet compliance standards
Ensure all audit information is accurately and promptly reported to vendors, site leaders, or clients as requested - Attend internal management meetings to share updates as necessary
Keep abreast of compliance and regulatory updates - Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of apprentices as required
Salary: $85,000-$95,000/yr.
