Summary Of Opportunity

The Dayforce Release and Configuration Management team is looking for a Dev Ops Intern to help build the next generation of support tooling for the Dayforce product line. Dayforce is a comprehensive, modern cloud human capital management (HCM) SaaS product suite and platform for managing the entire employee lifecycle.

The Dayforce Release and Configuration Management (RCM) team supports the Dayforce product and development teams as they build, test, and deploy software, both monolithic and microservices based software. The RCM team does that by defining, managing, monitoring, and reporting on all development/QA environments, software branches, builds, and deployments. As a member of this team, the Software Developer will help build tools that support the rest of the RCM team. They will work closely with the team to understand their processes and help develop solutions that automate these daily processes.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Collaborate within a cross functional distributed team on the design and implementation of new features
  • Drive quality and best coding practices daily
  • Full stack development on a web application
  • Including front end development of high performing UI controls
  • Automation and working in building Automation Framework

Qualifications

  • Great communication skills
  • Able to work with a distributed team
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented design and development
  • Experience with enterprise level software and building high performing applications
  • In depth knowledge of C#, .NET framework and SQL Server (TSQL, Database design)
  • Experience working with React, jQuery
  • Experience working with cloud technologies in a microservice architecture
  • Experience building high performance and scalable applications
  • Experience with or desire to work in an agile development environment
  • Experience with unit testing and mocking

Nice To Have

  • Previous experience in building internal tools
  • Previous experience in Automating internal processes
  • Knowledge of DevOps concepts
