About The Opportunity
We are looking for a Marketing Automation Intern to join the Program Management Office (PMO) team with the Dayforce Marketing department. This role will be to work closely with the Campaign Management team for campaign execution.
Each intern will report to the Manager, Marketing Automation and be responsible for tasks including, developing and maintain automation programs, ensuring accurate and timely execution of program activities, reviewing and testing (QA) programs created by other team members, maintaining quality of marketing data, and assisting with creation of documentation. This collaborative role will also work closely with the Campaign Management team, providing a wide range of exposure to end-to-end marketing campaign execution. Assignments within the marketing team will expose interns to the various aspects of demand generation.
Primary Responsibilities/ What You’ll Get To Do
- Build marketing automation programs within Marketo, including emails and landing pages using standardized templates.
- Set-up campaign workflows within Marketo to assist with data processing.
- Deploy email marketing campaigns for customer communications, virtual events, and other routine marketing programs.
- Follow list upload guidelines to ensure data quality and lead processing.
- Maintain the quality of marketing data aligning to company’s compliance and privacy practices.
- Serve as a point of contact for automation tasks for assigned marketing programs.
- Assist with the creation of documentation to capture repeatable processes and cross training opportunities
- Update project management tool, Asana, with status of work completed in a timely manner

- Working towards Bachelor’s degree. Preferably in Business, Marketing, or related field

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams
- Knowledge of Marketing Automation platforms: Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot
- Knowledge of CRMs/Reporting tools: Salesforce and PowerBI
- Online project management tools: Asana, Trello, Smartsheet, Wrike, Monday
