About The Opportunity

Dayforce is currently seeking a Resource Manager Prin to join our Dayforce Managed Team. We service our clients by supporting the complete employee life cycle including payroll, workforce management, benefits, and contact center; allowing the client to focus on their core business.

The Resource Manager Prin is responsible for the successful engagement of Partner Resources (External Labor) to augment Dayforce’s delivery of services to our customers. They report into the Global Partner Operations Director as part of the Dayforce Global Resource Management team and ensure solid relationships with our Partners. The Partner Operations, Lead Contingent Labor Specialist is responsible for the management of external labor lifecycle from sourcing, contracting, scheduling, timesheet monitoring, and contract closeout of all staff augmentation and Solution Center resources within their portfolio.

The Partner Operations, Lead Contingent Labor Specialist ensures contractual commitments for external labor in their portfolio are met. They facilitate the assignment of the right resources to the right customer projects at the right time by anticipating needs of the business from an external labor perspective to ensure projects are staffed appropriately. The Partner Operations, Lead Contingent Labor Specialist develops and possesses a deep knowledge of the skills and capabilities of the resources within their assigned Partner’s resource portfolio and collaborates with the Delivery organization to ensure we are fully utilizing the consultants. They work with the Consulting Resource and Delivery organizations along with their assigned Partner(s) to develop a forward view of skill demand, growth needs, Dayforce employee capacity and the anticipated demand for external labor resources.

What You’ll Get To Do

  • Build in depth knowledge of the assigned portfolio of Solution Center and staff augmentation resources by building strong relationships with Partner business leaders and external labor resources.
  • First point of contact for escalations regarding their assigned Partner(s) portfolio. Determine and execute appropriate action plan to resolve escalation, notifying leadership, as necessary.
  • Source appropriately skilled resources required for external labor demand for assigned area, coordinating skills validation interviews with appropriate business colleagues.
  • Support selection of new Partners
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute analytical reports for Partner Operations area.
  • Oversee External Labor contracts ensuring:
    • Contractual compliance of operational details (rate, hours, headcount, payment terms etc.)
    • Delivery of Partner Implementation Service(s) is aligned with the Services Descriptions(s) and processes.
    • All Partners are performing at agreed upon levels.
  • In conjunction with Global Director of Partner Operations:
    • Inspire, lead, and develop Partner Operations team members in the delivery of a work class Partner Organization
    • Review resources, technology, processes, and delivery approaches for external labor to improve quality and efficiency of operations.
    • Build and drive strategic plans with Dayforce Partners
  • Working with Resource Management and Delivery:
    • Identify and define external labor requirements and appropriate resources from the assigned Partner(s) portfolio to fulfill those requirements.
    • Maintain scheduled projects for the assigned Partner(s) portfolio of resources that will provide achievement of utilization goals.
    • Adjust resource assignments for changes in timelines, skills requirements, level of effort etc.
    • Develop project specific resource requirements.
    • Meet with leadership frequently to ensure staffing needs, utilization potential and shortages and surpluses are proactively identified across segments.

    Skills And Experience We Value

    • Bachelor of Science or Arts degree or equivalent work experience
    • 5 - 7 years of Partner Relationship Management, process and/or operations management including understanding of external labor contracting and management
    • Experience with Previous role that required high degree of organization and productivity.
    • Strong metrics-focus with ability to use analytics to develop solutions that solve challenges and problems.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to collaborate with all levels within organizations.
    • Strong ability to build rapport and gain the trust with all levels of the organization and influence decisions without the explicit authority.
    • Ability to work independently in fast-paced, constantly changing priorities, multi-task environment.
    • Strong logic and reasoning skills with the ability to think clearly under these pressures.
    • Experience in consulting services industry – ideally in a similar commercial role including experience of consulting services staffing processes.
    • Experience in personnel demand planning, forecasting, and reporting
    • Strong proficiency using Windows and related software such as Microsoft business products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
