Job Description Summary The Engineering Services Team operates globally, providing remote support to field services personnel to uphold top-tier performance for GE’s Solar and Storage Solutions assets. This entails optimizing the value of post-COD aspects such as warranties, long-term service agreements (LTSA), and Change-Modification-Upgrades (CMUs) to uphold customer satisfaction.
The Lead Services Services Engineer oversees the holistic electrical and mechanical aspects of our Solar and Storage Solutions assets. This includes swiftly addressing escalated L2-level issues, participating in Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) to identify underlying issues and prevent recurrence, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system functionality. Additionally, the role entails providing guidance on system enhancements and modifications, leading system integration projects and initiatives, and participating in Change-Modification-Upgrades (CMUs) to enhance system performance. Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
- Analyze and optimize system integrations across the Solar and Storage Solutions fleet.
- Address and resolve escalated system-related concerns.
- Participate in Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) to identify underlying issues and prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system functionality.
- Provide guidance on system enhancements and modifications.
- Lead system integration projects and initiatives.

- Communicate progress transparently to internal and external customers during system upgrades or troubleshooting.
- Drive knowledge-sharing sessions to promote a deeper understanding of system integrations and enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with renewable energy regulations and standards at a system level.
- Collaborate with level one (L1) and level three (L3) teams on system-wide challenges and solutions.
- Continuously monitor and stay updated with evolving technologies and industry trends that can impact system integrations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors in electrical engineering from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited college or university.
- Solid understanding of electrical systems and components.
- Experience with SCADA systems and data analysis.
- Familiarity with renewable energy regulations and standards.
- Design and development knowledge in renewables applications.
- Previous experience with GE P80i and PERTU systems.

The salary range for this position is 85,600.00 - 114,100.00 - 142,600.00 USD Annual . The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus.
